The role 

We’re looking for a passionate frontend developer to join our team in our office Nicosia – Cyprus. Match our engineering culture with your passion for flawless software, your vision for clean code, your eagerness for bleeding edge technologies and your ambition to evolve. Our stack consists of React, NextJs, Material UI, SASS, Mapbox, Redux and React-Query. On the backend side Python, FastAPI, Django, Postgres, PostGIS, ElasticSearch and Redis. We use Vercel and Heroku to host, manage and automate deployments and Docker to ensure consistency, automations and productivity for our developers. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop, test, and support production software 
  • Apply your experience and knowledge to solve both common and complex issues. 
  • Collaborate with the rest of the team to achieve your daily or long-term goals 
  • Communicate with non-tech colleagues to support their requests and explain the product in their language 
  • Keep yourself updated about new technologies that could help you, the team, or our product.

Qualifications 

Must have: 

  • Solid understanding of web architecture (HTTP, APIs, REST etc)
  • Experience with React
  • Passion about pixel perfect & responsive UI/UX
  • Collaborative attitude 
  • Keen to learn new skills and gain experience with technologies at a rapid pace 
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) 
  • Fluent in English (Greek an add-on)
  • Minimum 3 years work experience

Nice to have: 

  • Understanding of state management (Redux, React-query)
  • Experience with unit, integration and e2e tests
  • Experience on Python and PostgreSQL is a huge plus

The Real Estate Analyst will work with financial institutions, corporations and insurance companies individuals to review asset positioning and performance and to develop valuations reports and business plans. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists with and carries out real estate valuations and feasibility/viability studies.
  • Analyses comparable sales data and other information relating to specific real estate assets and portfolios.
  • Builds financial models (in Excel and/or other tools) and performs related analysis.
  • Understands and is kept updated on changes to the legal framework and regulations including inter-alia town planning regulations, tenancy laws, etc
  • Prepares and delivers presentation to clients and investors.
  • Assists with and carries our business development to generate awareness about the company and new business.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Civil Engineering, Town Planning, Architecture.
  • Self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative.
  • Well organised and able to multi-task across multiple assignments, prioritise workloads and work under time pressure.
  • Strong communication, analytical and data organisation/interpretation skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Fluent in Greek and English.

The role

The Real Estate Analyst will work with financial institutions, corporations and insurance companies individuals to review asset positioning and performance, undertaking various real estate advisory reports and business plans. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform market research on supply/demand fundamentals, sales and rent comparables, yields, other real estate related data.
  • Valuation and excel modelling of investment opportunities.
  • Investigate and analyse market data to determine/verify a project’s economics and to verify assumptions used in models.
  • Underwriting/valuations and due diligence of specific investments or RE portfolios.
  • Create DCF financial and RE models for underwriting/valuations or to evaluate prospective real estate investments and opportunities across real estate sectors.
  • Writing of Business Plans reports analysing various scenarios/options to maximize asset performance/returns.
  • Coordinate/project managing the implementation of various Business Plans.
  • Understands and is kept updated on changes to the legal framework and regulations including inter-alia town planning regulations, tenancy laws, etc
  • Prepares and delivers presentation to clients and investors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-6 years of demonstrated experience in real estate market research, valuation/underwriting and modelling.
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics or Data Analytics related fields.
  • Valuation memberships of the Scientific Technical Chamber Cyprus (ETEK) and RICS would be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, ability to aggregate, harmonize and rationalize various data sources.
  • Financial Modelling skills intermediary to advanced level.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, and able to work on own initiative.
  • Well organised and able to multi-task across multiple assignments, prioritise workloads and work under time pressure.
  • Strong communication, analytical and data organisation/interpretation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.

  • Design digital maps with geographic data and other data sources.
  • Perform environmental risk and impact analysis
  • Perform data munging and cleaning to convert data into its desired form.
  • Locates and defines new process improvement opportunities.
  • Develops and implements data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
  • Interprets data, analyses results using statistical techniques.
  • Identifies patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Prepares and delivers presentation to clients and investors.
  • Participates in teams that undertakes specific projects and/or clients and works.

Qualifications 

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working for an insurance company or an advisory business that undertakes environmental studies or was/ is active in geospatial research would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with sustainability and/or ESG reporting initiatives
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in environmental studies or other related field
  • Experience with mapping tools such as QGIS
